Governance

Public participation on QTube depends on membership, SAIKO holder status, and Community Moderator entitlement when that feature is enabled.

Public roles

Member
A registered account. Members can browse, and may upload, tip, propose tokens, or use other features when those features are available.
Holder
A member with a linked Ethereum wallet whose cached SAIKO balance meets the current holder minimum (1 SAIKO) when holder features are enabled. Holders may cast votes on token proposals and community reviews when those votes are enabled.
Community Moderator
Not a stored account role. When Community Moderators are enabled, members with a linked wallet that meets the current Community Moderator SAIKO requirement can access soft video review.

Current Community Moderator requirement: 100,000,000 SAIKO

Community Moderators are currently enabled.

Platform administrators maintain and operate QTube. Internal operator accounts and capabilities are not part of the public member model.

Who can vote

Holder votes require an authenticated account, a linked wallet, and a cached SAIKO balance at or above the holder minimum when holder features and the relevant vote flag are enabled.

  • Holder minimum: 1 SAIKO
  • Token votes: enabled
  • Community moderation votes: enabled

Each eligible wallet may cast one immutable ballot per open vote.

Who can moderate

Soft video review is available to Community Moderators who meet the current requirement of 100,000,000 SAIKO.

Soft review actions include publish, hide, defer, and reinstate, subject to the 24-hour direct-hide protection described in Moderation. After that window, Community Moderators escalate protected hide decisions for platform administrator review instead of hiding the video directly.
